LOOKING FOR A GOOD CMS ENGINE

CMS EXAMPLES

CMS stands for Content Management System.  It allows us to generate web pages with different styles and contents, according to our purposes.  As you can see bellow, there are many CMS engines which allow us to get the best results.
Among the infite number of web pages we can find on the Internet, which are powered by CMS systems, bellow, you can find some examples of different educational centres using different CMS softwares.  If you go througsh them, you will see that each one has a particular design, according to the CMS sofware used in each case.

Let's see the following ones:

Sites created with Drupal:

Sites created with Zikula (mostly in Catalonia):
http://agora.xtec.cat/iessantjust/intranet/http://agora.xtec.cat/iesnumancia/intranet/Sites using Mestre a Casa (official web offered by Conselleria):
http://mestreacasa.gva.es/web/ieslacanyada http://mestreacasa.gva.es/web/fpabeniassentSites directly using Moodle as site and VLE:
http://fpaibi.edu.gva.es/aulavirtual/http://www.iesalquibla.net/moodle/index.php

Once you have visited them you can appreciate that they all have a similar structure, except for the ones created using Mestre a Casa or Moodle and VLE.  Whereas the previous ones seem so simple,  anoying, these four last web sites which used the two above mentioned CMS software, appear more visually attractive, dynamic, easy to use and, connected with  siocial networking pages, which seems to me very important nowadays.

That is why, I prefer the four last pages, those created with Mestre a Casa or Moodle.  The other ones seem to me obsolete for today's teachinog and learning.  However, the choice is yours!
