WHY TO USE A BLOG?

Anybody has heard about something called "blog" on the Internet.  They are very popular nowadays.  Many people has a personal blog, a useful tool that allow people to publish their matters on the web and also, to receive comments, questions, or related information about the main topic of that blog.  A blog is some kind of "diary" in the digital dimension.  It allows us to write down our thoughts, feelings, wishes, and so on.  We can also upload photografs, videos or any sttuf which illustrate our writting.  Many people in the world have created blogs to develop their profesional activity, to reach to more people, to make their products become famous and then have more sellings and get more money.  It  has been more evident since the economical worldwide crisis began in 2009.
The great success of blogs together with their communicative dimension are the main reasons why the use of this technological tool has been adopted by the academic fields.  My tweens, Daniel and Gabriel are only 9 years old and they study 4th. course or Primary School.  They have already a blog they can read about the subjects of English lessons.  I mean, it is common matter to see how teachers of all levels create their own blogs to communicate with their studens out of the classroom.  Moreover, this is something that works very quick, more rapid than , for example, the traditional way of writing a composition on a paper sheet and give it the following day to the teacher, only when we are physically present in the classroom.

So, the use of blogs in the academic context seems to me an excellent way to make any subject more dinamic and to make it easier the communication between the teacher and their  students or among the wuhole community.  Moreover, it is something that you can learn to use easily, following the steps you can find in the blog from the beginning.  It contains  also the tools that allow you to connect the blog with social networkings or web pages through the use of different links.

In conclusion, it seems that blogs are open, flexible, quick, visual, clear and communicative options to develop any subject within any academic level.
